i have a disk and its copy-protected. i need a program that will decrypt it to a file so i can make a copy of the disk(movie). what program would you guys recommend. i use nero but im not sure if nero has the decrypter in it because i tried to make a copy and it wouldnt let me. im looking for something pretty USER FRIENDLY so i can learn fast and not have to diddle daddle around for a day trying to figure out what to do. thanks you guys.

My personal recommendation is DVD shrink. It is FREEWARE that you should be able to find by googling it. The great thing about DVD shrink is that it is a decrypter that integrates with NERO to burn the decrypted DVD. I have used it on several DVD's with excellent results.

Well, maybe I'm just dumb, but... if you have Microsoft movie maker on your machine, why not take a few minutes and see if it will open in that. Then save it under a different name, say, to the desktop, and right-click the icon on the desktop, send to burner drive... you never know. Might be just that simple.

AnyDVD, but it isn't free.
