Only in cyberspace. If you'd like to arrange an appreciation dinner for us or something like that, it would be nice, however.

I'm not a top contributor but I frequent this section. I don't think I'll ever be a top contributor here unless all the questions somehow became about the military in Japan. I have met someone on Yahoo Answers before I think it would be cool to have a sort of Yahoo Answers meetup in Japan. It would be cool to meet up with TokyoLiv_in09, twikfat,Looking for the truth, JOriental, Andrew in Tokyo, Cyn, Rabbityama, and others. Even you tiger lou but I'm not sure if you are still in Japan though. I am planning to go in November and if there are any Yahoo Answers Japan party I will be there.

NICE!
I do not know or met anyone of them yet ...top contributors or regulars. All I know is that they are very nice people here, giving good answers and informations about Japan..I keep updated too, because I am not currently living in Japan. What will happen? Just for fun or experience..why not? I don't think this would be a problem for regular answerer who has broad-mind and willing to meet people from Y/A JPN section..Maybe you could start organizing one meeting..right? TL
BTW..this is for Cyn, nice to see you answering again in Y/A... welcome back..

â¡I've met 1 person who answers here in the Japan section - or rather they (a couple) met me! I was in El Toritos in Sunshine C and a young couple kept looking my way... YES\(^â^)/, I had that pink cap on and NO, I don't wear it much anymore!(*^o^*) After awhile at the chips and salsa table the young lady says; "Cyn chan...?" Very funny! We invited them over to our table.... They mostly like to read the answers here but rarely answer. NICE couple! (Hi guys!)
Andï½around the beginning of the year when I was coming back to Japan, a nice guy on my flight asked if I answered on YA!...HOW did he know?? I guess the fact that I had on the Level 7 Blue Answers jacket gave it away, right? (^_-)-â I don't wear THAT much anymore either. He said he answered in other cats occasionally. Smart guy...
...Besides all thatï½ I think if most of the people here in the Japan cat met they'd probably have a good time and LOTS of laughs! â¡^_^â¡ãEveryone seems nice enough to me. I think it'd be interesting at best!
*¸¸.·*´¯` ⡠Ohhhhh, VERY interesting Q. (...and I almost missed it too!)

I have never met any of the "Japan" regulars in person.
That would be fun, but kind of strange, too! I wonder if any live close enough to meet? It'd be REALLY strange to find out that I one of the regulars is someone I already know! lol.
If you throw such a party, will you invite ALL the regulars? I mean, our dinner conversation could end up being all about whaling and black people! haha.

I don't think it would go that well.. through many answers I read, I can piece together approximate ages/family life/etc and I think living in Asia is all we really have in common!
(amd maybe too much free time on our hands at the computer)
I think if I was living at home again, (USA), with all of my hobbies/television/minutia around me, I wouldn't keep up with this.. it is like an alternative lifestyle or something.. ha ha

Regulars at the Malaysia section have been meeting up tho, I think its a great idea if regulars in other sections would meet up and perhaps join us sometimes (if you guys ever do drop by)...
