Yes, it is. Even if you have an arrest record you still have a pretty good chance. What they are looking for is people to be there. Look neat and clean at the interview, and if you have ever had any leadership experience at all, press it. Smile, they eat it up. Stress your dependability. Get a few people to write you some notes of reference (friends work). The best places to find a job, are ones that are newly built. If you see "coming soon" Be at the hiring trailer. In this case they are only interested in filling the roster, Asst management last. A good last tip: Know just a touch about the history of the establishment, toss out a few dates and perhaps a "quiz" fact or two. Sounds hokey, but it works.

When I was 17, I applied to BK 3 times and never got a call back. I applied only once at a McD's and was granted an interview but was never called back.
