ohh how beautiful, big brown eyes are stunning. I think green eyeshadow really helps brown eyes stand out. Just a light green eyeshadow. The bigger the eyes and eyelashes the better babe!

White shimmer eyeshadow can also bring out the beautiful darkness of brown eyes. This is very pretty.

Brown eyes can be dark and mysterious which guys can find sexy. So to add to this look you can use black eyeshadow and smudge it onto the eyelids and using a black eyeliner to put a line at the ends of each eyelid for a cute effect.

I believe to make them look smaller, you should put the liner all around your entire eye including close to wear you get the crust in your eye. I have large eyes, but I like them unless you are talking about you have bulging eyes. Anyways, when I put my eyeliner all over my entire eye for a more dramatic look, it makes them look smaller. Also, if you don't put the liner so close to the lid, I think that helps too.

My eyes are dark brown and I can pretty much wear any color I want. I'm an african american light skinned female and I don't know your ethnicity so it also depends on your skin tone as to what shadows would look good on you. If you have a sephora store nearby, stop in there and they will definitely help you out. You won't be disappointed.

Rim your eyes in black eyeliner, this gives the appearance of small eyes. For brown eyes, I would suggest darker colors like purples, browns, golds, or blues... Apply your eye shadow with an eye shadow brush. You can get them at any store for about two bucks.

1) Leave your brows fuller & thicker. You can pluck a few stray hairs under the brow & trim any long hairs at the top just a tiny bit to neaten them. Use clear mascara or brow gel to hold them in place.

If you pluck them into thin arches your eyes will look larger by contrast.

2) Do not curl your lashes or use lengthening mascara.

3) Stick w/ basic eye makeup. e.g. dark eyeliner tight against upper lash line w/ black mascara & neutral matte eyeshadow for daytime or dark matte eyeshadow for evening

4) Wear contact lenses instead of eyeglasses if you have a strong prescription. Some prescription lenses magnify the appearance of the eyes.

If you prefer eye glasses, then choose simple, unobtrusive frames.

5) Balance your features by keeping your eye makeup neutral & wearing lip color to draw attention to them.

Also, choose a hair cut that will draw attention to other features like high checkbones or your lips & flatter your face shape.

First of all... eyeliner is meant to make your eyes stand out more so if you want them to look smaller its probably best you don't use eyeliner. For eyeshadow, i would go with a brown eyeshadow and put it on lightly to make a look like your not wearing any... that's the trick you want it to look natural.

I would go to a department store and have someone do your makeup. They can show you how to apply and what colors work best. Try golds and browns. Those always look pretty on brown eyed girls. Black eye liner will make your eyes look smaller of you line them all the way around!

hmmm...well its kinda hard not knowing what you look like.

But.....well okay when you put on eye shadow make it color of the eye shadow darker around the eye then brighten up when it gets over to the lid.

hmmm....Lets thinkk. Don't go over board on the eyeliner! Make a THIN line.

Good Luck

for the eyeshadow you should try a bright but light metalic color like blue

for the eyeliner on some people its different so if i was you i would apply the eyliner on the inside on one eye and on the other on the bottom and see which one makes it look smaller

hope i helped!!
