i have had only one overturned and have recieved 27 i believe. I have had them remove the same question twice so lost 20 points twice and they didn't give those points back either..that to me says they don't pay any attention to the appeals.

yes, yahoo has given my points back once. i asked "what would you be doing if you weren't on yahoo answers right now?". i received a violation and appealed. the next day they sent me an email saying they gave me back my points. yay! with that said, most of the time yahoo doesn't care. i've appeal every time i receive a violation and they always make up some b.s. that doesn't make sense.

Hello, we met again. :-)
Yes, I had Violation Notices reversed and I got my points back.
If you feel the Violation Notice was unfounded, then by all means file an appeal. They need to know who is falsely reporting people.

yes - all my recent ones were overturned except for the avatar game ones
the best way is to reply to the violation email immediately
