The Chicago weather channel has changed to "Local on the 8's" so that it is of no value and is not "local". Where can we get local weather information?

The Weather Channel gets your local information from your cable provider. There is an offshoot to the Weather Channel that has been in place for over a year now, with nothing but local information, but you will need digital cable for this, it is called WeatherScan. In it there is no weather guy or gal on the screen, no commercials, just weather 24/7 in printed from along with some music. It not only has the weather for your immediate area, but areas around the state as well.
