What is the minimum rent in the area and which area is cheap Fruita, Palisade or Grand Junction in Colorado..?
Do this areas have any Hostel / Shared Room facility

That whole area is reasonably inexpensive. You could find some good deals near Mesa State University. I would run an ad in the newspaper or just read the ads. Fruita may even be cheaper, but you would probably drive to Grand Junction a lot and thus spend more on gas.

Downtown Grand Junction is somewhat cheap. Clifton, about 10 miles east of Grand Junction, is the leaset expensive area of town. You can get a 2bed/1bath for around $600/month. Check out www.craigslist.com for cheap rentals.
