Hopefully, it should lose strength after crossing the Yucatan peninsula. Been there... done that with Katrina.

Houston does no longer be like New Orleans. New Orleans sits under sea point and is surrounded via levees. All water interior the levees must be pumped out. Houston might probable have localized flooding in low mendacity factors, solid winds & rain, tornados, and skill outages.

I hope not, Even Okla. was affected yesterday by one of those hurricanes, we have 5 dead so far. We were not affected by Katrina.

It's just as big and powerful. It won't be as devastating if it hits Mexico, since there are no cities as large as New Orleans.
