I'd like to hear ppl's opinion about my ex. He met a woman 2 months ago and she is 40 years old single. She doesn't think she can find partner in her life and even doesn't want to try to look for it. But just wants to have a baby for her own. He decided to help her and had sex just to make her pregnant. He says they talk about it a lot and they made sure that he will not be responsable for anything when she gets pregnant and have a baby. It was very shocking story for me and totaly against my moral. Am I wrong? I know there so many ppl with different thoughts, but this is not accceptable for me. I feel like 2 adults just playing with sex and human life...what do you think about it?

I think she is a pathertic woman who cares for noone but herself... She is willing to have an innocent child too someone she barely knows for the sake of having a child!!!

Who knows the father might not want anythnig too do with the child and therefore the child have too suffer for its mother poor judgment..

And for the man who is agreeing too it, he is just as pathertic as the woman! Does he know if she is going too be a good mother to his child? Or anything???

Pathetic people!! the pair of them...

She should have just got a sperm donation...ok so basically she got the sperm donation but got to enjoy sex along with it and now if she needs help she has a backup plan because she can legally go after him unless they have a contract (and even then she could still go after him for money). There are sperm banks for this kind of thing. There are lots of single people who still want to be a parent and thats why you go to a sperm bank and get sperm to get pregnant. Then it is all on the mom to raise the child and she can't go after the guy for money. Basically your ex has set himself up for some trouble in the future but you have to look at it like this. There are lesbians that do it all the time, they pick a guy friend and have a baby with him but raise the baby without him. It makes for a difficult and confusion situation for the child but i guess you could say the mom wants the baby really bad to go through all that.

Unless there was some legal contract drawn up, he is still financially responsible for the baby if she chooses to go after him once the baby is born.

It is that woman's life. You don't have to like it, it doesn't involve you, it is her choice. At least this baby will be born to a loving mom who wants the baby and will raise the baby. It is much better than some teenagers having sex and getting accidentally pregnant. There are tons of single moms in the world. If the situation upsets you, just stay out of it. It has nothing to do with you.

Having a baby is a lot of work, and I think she's really brave (and possibly just ignorant) to take it on by herself. But if she can afford it, why not? It's better than having to take care of two babies (the real baby and a spouse who acts like a baby). And babies really are worth the trouble . . . .

As someone unable to have kids I can see her wanting to have a baby. BUT I would never ask one of my Xs who is with someone else, to have sex with me to make it happen. That just isn't right. Seems to me that since he said yes..... Well that is fishy. He should have said NO.

It sounds kinda' strange, but if thats what they want to do...its their choice...he should write up a contract to be sure he won't be responsible in any way, just to cover his butt!

I agree with you-it's totally wrong and completley selifsh on sooo many levels. If she really wants a baby that bad, she should consider adoption.
