I used to think I was so unique and original . . . but then, as I grew older and went to college, I started discovering there's a lot of people like me. I'm a lot more normal than I thought I was! Now I live in Japan -- which isn't a real normal thing for an American -- but I feel very normal here, when I hang out with the other foreigners over here.
(-: Sometimes, though, I feel just totally bizarre, like I'm surrounded by alien life forms. Like some guy asked what was a great truth of human nature, and everyone had these NEGATIVE answers. And I was like, what planet are these people on? Most of the people I know are quite nice and decent human beings!

What is normal???...everyone has a different idea in their head about what is "normal" and what their culture has raised them to view as "normal".
My idea of normal is a good solid "Father of the Bride" type family, no deep dark secrets, nothing brewing under the surface...simple. So...I don't really fall into any of the "normal" categories of mine. But I'm okay with that, I like my life and my family. We're all kind of different but I've always believed that people who stand out are the ones that are remembered.

Not much. Normal isn't a word to describe any human or their behavior. Humans are different in every way and unique. So the word normal describes reactions, material items, and etc. We can have relation in some things tough.

I thought I was normal. I try to be normal. But my husband says I am far from it. My whole life I've been told I'm weird so I try and just be normal but I guess I'm not that good at it. My husband also said people that are really weird like me don't know they are weird. Is that true?

Normal is for TV shows and pschoanalysts. An imaginary condition to aspire to. I prefer to put the fun in dysfunction! Without hurting my fellow man, of course.

I think that normalcy, like beauty, value, and numerous other things, is in the eye of the beholder. I find myself to be perfectly normal; however, who am I to judge how wierd or off-kilter anyone else is??

Pretty ABNORMAL, I hate being like everyone else... Over the years I just learned to partake in what I like and never worry about what others think... My friends & family still love me, so I guess I'm not that bad!!! lol

That depends on what I consider to be normal. I see myself to be unique compared to everyone else who are likewise unique. Therefore, I am as normal as my uniqueness allows me to be to myself.
