Our culture is so compassionate that it has forgotten responsiblity.

They see the plight of this woman, being sent back to her impoverished country & having to make the difficult choice of whether to take her son with her into poverty, or leace him here where he will have more opportunities.

But people forget one thing.

She is responsible for this situation! She came here illegally TWICE & committed fraud to gain employment in an area which requires high security with her false documents. She deserves to be deported!

About time.
As far as being seprated from her son.
TOUGH!
She would be fine but someone start feeding her ego thinking she can fly around the country to protest the US enforcing the immigration laws.

It would be like a bank robber flying around telling the virtures of robbing banks and they FBI arrested her. People think we should feel sorry for her son. Maybe she should have thought more about her son than getting camera time.

Arellano is the explanation we ask: "If she's so worried, why does not she fix her very own government?" Mexico has one thousand billion dollar financial gadget (and growing to be), 18 billion barrels of accepted crude reserves (some estimates are bigger), extra scenic sea coast than the different crucial American us of a, proximity to the main efficient financial gadget on the globe and extra organic aspects than all of W. Europe mixed. the roles they do so affordably kill our financial incentive to maintain up with different worldwide places in coming up automation for such issues as song-farming and nano-bot harvesting approaches. Arellano is here illegally, so she ought to be arrested and deported. i'm no longer conserving my breath, tho. There is legal precedent for church sanctuary and it wasn't applied or recognized by the feds! She should still be under the purview of the church not arrested!

Serves her right to deport her, she is a criminal. All she was doing by "staying & fight" was seeking pitty from soft, sorry excuses for Americans that continue to support criminals of this sort. It is not our fault that she repeatedly violated immigration laws & then ended up knocked up & delivered her baby here. She should really reflect & see how she has abandoned, yes abandoned her son in this country when she should have never been here in the first place to put this boy in the position of having his mother taken away. Also, the fact that the article points out that she stated "From the time I took sanctuary the possibility has existed that they arrest me in the place and time they want," she said in Spanish. I am not even concerned of what she said, rather than that she has been in the country for the most part since 1997, the better part of 10 YEARS and still speaks Spanish. THIS IS AMERICA.... STOP LETTING THESE BORDER CRICKETS COME INFULTRATE & INFEST OUR COUNTRY!!!

Sad to say, but it was about time. I think that that woman was just interested in putting the spotlight on her, and not really caring about her son. Being illegal is not ok, and neither were here actions. I believe that if a person is illegal, they should try and fix their immigration status promptly so the anti-illegals can stop giving them all a bad name.

This is sad. I'm sorry they, the Government, hasn't come up with some kind of immigration reform. My Grandparents came here in the early 1900's seeking freedom. I believe it should be open to everyone but, I also understand they just can't open the gates without some sort of control.
The Mexicans I've seen and worked with in the Southwest come here, work without spending money here and then go home on the weekends and take all thier earnings with them.

How fair is this to me, I have to make rent, taxes, eating and gas. They came out on the job, bring thier food with them, they have no bills because they don't buy anything here, then go home, laughing at me.

The few that lived here, next to us, nine grown men living in a one bedroom apartment, month after month, bring thier families with them on week-ends and camp out in the parking lot, until we complained.

See what I'm saying, they want all the privilages, all the advantages, all the goodies, they don't want to give anything back in return. They flood our hospitals, our clinics, everything they want for free.
They fly thier flag in thier yards or on thier cars, they want us to stand aside while they celebrate thier holidays and, they wants us to help them clebrate with days off from school, etc.
They want us to celebrate thier customs with them, to aide them. But, they're not willing to give anything back to us.

From what I've seen through the years, they want it all one way so, I don't feel sorry for her, Elvira, she's just another antagonist that should be sent back.Let her come in the legal way.
