Ebay selling limit, won't let me list item?

"In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. If a limit has been placed on your account, please contact us."

I have only sold couple items, so how could i have reached the limit? I am paypal vertified. What restrictions are there for paypal or ebay for selling limits. I have the premier account, are there any restrictions for it?(ex 5 transactions per month)
I contacted ebay a week ago but they ignored my question. I am selling tiffany's, could it be that i'm selling brand names?

I am a trade assistant for ebay.. I have no idea... Go to http://www.ebay.com and click on live help. Enter your user Id in the pop up screen and wait for the tech support person. Ask them the same question and dont let them go till you get an answer... Wait periods arent too bad...

my wife is an ebay power seller, and she told me that ebay recently started placing limits on sellers who have a certain number of negatives within the last few months ... i'm not sure of the exact numbers. she told me one horror story of a seller who combined an old account with her current account, and all of the negatives on the old account, which were YEARS old, were flagged as NEW negatives after the merge, and the seller was penalized with a selling limit.

my wife tells me a lot about the 'enhancements' that ebay implements, because i am a data specialist with 30 years of experience, and she values my opinions. it seems to me that many of the changes are implemented in short-sighted, brain-dead mode, either to increase ebay's revenues or to avoid a lawsuit. very few of them ever consider the damage done to the sellers or the buyers, and ebay is reluctant to deal with the individual exceptions ... it costs money, you know!
