When you ANSWER a question do you read any of the other people's answers too?

Even to the 2nd or 3rd page?
( Sorry, this is the question I meant to ask the first time)

I only look at other people's answers AFTER I post mine because I want mine to be original and not influenced by anyone else's answer (besides, that would be wrong). I do read through the other answers afterward to perhaps learn some info I may note have known; other answers are funny and entertaining; and, more importantly, I also like to see if my answer IS the BEST !!

If the question is interesting enough, I'll go to the 2nd or 3rd page for certain!

Yes, sometimes as I am a little unsure of the question people are asking. Most of the time I read them after I have done my own answer so its a representative answer.

Yeah, I quickly scan answers to try not to be repetitive. If I find I can explain something better or be more helpful, then I answer the question. Otherwise, it's kind of pointless, IMHO.

After I answer then yes I will look at the other but if I notice someone before me have the same answer then I will change mine I hate having the same answer as someone else.....having said that I hope no one typed the same thing as me. lol

Usually, to make sure I don't copy any one, maybe not to the 3rd page though.

sometimes depends on what the question is but i usually skim at least the first page but only after i've answered it

Yeah, I try to read all of them so I don't post the same answer as someone else.
