I saw a trailer that was made from a huge electrical switch box, probably 400-600 amp. The top (front of the box) was curved outward on the upper 2/3's and after being painted, it really looks cool. Maybe a bit heavy since it's all heavy guage metal, but it's water tight, is lockable, hinged and virtually indestructable. The box is strong enough that no framwork was necessary and he attached the axle and springs directly to the box as well as the tongue. If you're interested, you might check salvage yards or contact local contractors that demolish buildings and find out what or where they get rid of such stuff at. Or, check at an industrial electrical supply and see what they have, you should be able to buy just the box without any guts inside.
