Making a list is hard to do when there are so many different lists that could be made...especially with such an elaborate field of possibilities. It'd be easier to answer with specifics. Such as: What kind of environment were the teens raised in? Single parent? How much money do their parents make? It all effects what teens are like. For example, if they came from a rich family they may take things for granted that someone who came from a poor family would value. It's really too vague of a question though. U could be talking about almost anything regarding a teen.

1. Try to conform and will do anything to fit in with peers.
2. Do what they can to be different from their parents supposedly to be individuals. Ironically, #1 describes them very well.
3. Think that the world revolves around them. They show this trait by acting like their problems are the worst.
4. Usually want sex more than kids and adults
5. Often dumber than elementary school kids.
This is my description of a typical American teen.

They're between 13 & 19, most of them are either in junior high or high school, some of them have jobs, many of them still live at home with their parents, and I'm not one!

Tends to follow trends, the culture and peers are raising them instead of their parents, searching for answers outside of themselves, hates inequality and is more socially and pollitically conscious.
