I grew up in the rural small town. Then I lived in a large city for awhile, but I just had to come back to the rural life. Life is so much better in a small town.

I lived in a rural suburb, meaning far away from the main part of town.

I suppose it was considered rural. Hate that word though, so difficult to pronounce. Anyway ..... Now that I have my own home, I do get a lot of mail that is addressed to "rural route" instead of "occupant". It is my preference also.

Suburbs of a big city. Now I live in a small town. It's weird where life takes you.
I'm happy where I am. And surprised about that.

I have lived in the suburbs of NYC all my life. I have been to many other places but I can't imagine living anywhere else.
