Tempting as it might sound-NO-why? because it would consume about every waking hour of every day leading up to the when and how and to me that would quench every bit of "life" and it's enjoyment out of me. I might be granted a sweet death(fall asleep)-but even then I would be so focused on that that daily life would become redundant.
It is enough to know that in Ecclesiastes it says "there is a time to live and a time to die" and those times are in God's hands and known only to Him.
We do know we are all going to die unless the Rapture comes for believers first, but we also can know, if we have a terminal disease, that our life may be short but even a dr. cannot tell us the moment of death.
I might die at the center of a bomb dropped by terrorists but I have peace because I know that by His grace I am righteous through Jesus and will spend eternity with Him and frankly,I can hardly wait to be with Him.

Yes, I wouldn't pass up the chance to find out "how I am going to die" or "when I am going to die" as well.
