back in high school it was like that. I am married now(as you know) and I am still friends with a couple of my ex's! There is one that I would still like to slap though.

You know what I'm going to say: You cannot turn back the clock, what's done is done and cannot be undone, to quote a well known cliche, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". My advice is be thankful for your current partner but be honest with her, discuss your thoughts, accept that the past is history, true love rarely happens overnight, lasting love takes time, mutual caring and sharing. Your previous relationship of 5.5 years must have broken up for a reason, perhaps you just knew each other too well, pretty much like ice skating stars Torville & Dean, please forget the past and move on. Good luck. God bless. Gladgran. January 2011

Hardly ever. I just married a guy I broke up with 13 years ago. And my best friend is someone I dated for a while. *my hubby is friends with him too*. Just because something doesn't work out romantically is no reason to start acting like a jerk. You'd most likely lose out on a lot of friends that way. That's just my opinion anyways.

No. I have maintained a good relationship with my ex husband and several people I dated before and after my marriage. I always had a friendship aspect with them as a basis for a romantic relationship.

One of them is still my friend and we've known each other since we were little. We tried the whole boyfriend / girlfriend thing as teenagers, but found out we're better off as just friends. The rest of them I don't ever speak to. I don't even know where they live anymore and I honestly don't care to know.

No... I have extremely weird karma... Someone who has authority over the person usually does something devious to cause the breakup... My director (boss) says "I never believed in or understood karma until I observed what happened to you... You just have bad luck/karma, Sheila"..
BTW... Who cloned your avatar???

Actually, no. You see, my husband was not a nice person and did lots of rotten things. Can't get along with someone who hurts you on purpose.
Had a boyfriend I dated for a few years and I still get along with him. Understand?

No, me and my exgirlfriend hang out on a daily basis. We were best friends before and we are still best friends after and even when I have a new girlfriend.

Usually. I don't speak to anyone I used to date - but then again, I live several hundreds of miles away from them!

No but it just makes m ore sense to break away from that person in order to move on, once you break up with them.
