The age of the father doesn't matter for anything. The only concern of age is with the mother and it has nothing to do with what color eyes, hair or skin the baby will have but with the health of the baby. Older women have a higher instance of having babies with birth defects.
The baby will be 62.5% caucasian/37.5% other. The difference should be negligible. Caucasians can have blonde, brunette, red or black hair. What is in your backgrounds and what strong facial features do you both have? That will give you the best idea of what your baby will look like.
Dark eyes are dominant over blue and dark hair over light hair but genetics is not as clear cut as they teach it in high school. I'm mexican/caucasian. Both my parents have dark hair and brown eyes, yet I have hazel green. My sister has dark hair and brown eyes and so does her children's father (Thai/caucasian) yet one daughter has brown hair/icy blue eyes and the other auburn hair and icy green/blue eyes. My bother who has dark hair and brown eyes and his blonde haired blue eyed children all have blonde hair and either brown or blue eyes. Okay, I could go on. BTW, my mother tells me that I get my green eyes from my (mexican) great uncle who was the only one of 14 children who had light skin, blonde hair and green eyes. The spanish influence came out in our family. Lots of people don't recognize me as being Mexican because they are from another region. I am from Texas but live in California.
I'm going on too much. Your baby is sure to be beautiful. I think that breaking racial barriers, as long as there is compromise to keep the best cultural traditions and do away with the worst, is the best idea. Makes for beautiful babies! :)

This almost sounds rasist. Why can't a baby just be a baby without lables on it?
Anyhow genetically speaking.....there are a huge variety of options. Studies show that some people who seem completely white actually have their roots in Africa. Some totally African Americans have their roots in Europe. There are zillion of combinations between mom & dad egg and sperm.
No.....an older father doesn't change what the baby is . Although an older mother is more apt to have a down syndrom child or other genetic problems.
Dominate genes over ride recessive genes. For example I am blonde and blue eyes. I had to have both parents with recessive genes to make me that way. Had my dad been dark skinned etc. he could have recessive genes which I would need to be blonde.
If you have some genes that haven't come out for generations they might come out now and the same with the father of the baby. The baby could be a wide variety of shades of color.
Just love the baby for what he or she is and consider whatever color is perfect for that child.

The fathers age has nothing to do what the baby will look like. The mother having blue eyes and the father having brown, chances are the baby will have brown because that is the dominate color(regardless of race).Seen in a mag. where this biracial couple had twins, one was very African American, the dark skin, dark eyes, curly hair, the other one had blond hair, blue eyes and straight hair.So ya never know.It is just all genetics.

really genetics are unpredictable when it comes to things like that. I have seen two people that are both african american have a baby that was very very light skinned. The darker skin usually takes over but there is still that chance the baby will be light. As for eye color it can have either of them. I have seen blue eyes with the darker complection but usually it is dark eyes with the darker complection. So basically what i am trying to say there is no way to know.

LOL...his age has nothing to do with how your baby would look. You just can't tell till it's born. More than likely, though, he will have brown eyes like dad. He'll probably have a little bit of color, not alot.
My son's father was black, 100%, and he only gets dark in the summer after fishing all the time. He usually looks like he has a nice tan.
However he looks, he will be beautiful cause he is yours.

Age is irrelevant and I'm a 'mutt' mysefl! ;) I defnitley take after my dad, who is 100% indian (dark skinned) and don't look too much like my mom who is 100% white. I think the darker skin is usually the mroe dominant gene so they would probably look more like that father. One things for sure, 'mutts' are beatiful! ;)

The baby will probably come out looking mixed. It also depends on weather one has recessive or dominant genes too.

age has nothing to do with genes.. we each get 50% of our genes from our mother and 50% from our father.. genes dont change as we age..
by the sounds of it.. your not just being weird about age but color.. you will have a child .. it will be a gift .. so enjoy it.

well all of my kids are mixed with black. i'm colombian and italian. the color just depends on genetics. i'm real light and their dad is real dark, and my kids barely look mixed at all because my genes dominated. i have pics on my myspace of my kids. my kids seem to get darker with each one i have but they are VERY light so like i said it just depends on who has the more dominant genes.
