One year my family took a vacation to Canada, we checked into this creepy hotel. The first thing my dad does when we get to a hotel is mess with the air conditioning buttons. Well something he did caused a glitch and shut down power to all of the surrounding rooms. We decided to leave and a couple of hours later we were back in the U.S. It was a weird and very boring trip.

I was bored and so on a fine saturday, I drove to a neighbourhood I had never been to before and just drove around, knocking on every single house door that had a for sale sign on it. I told the residents I was interested in buying a house in this area and basically wasted their time asking them about price, the house problems and rental issues.
It was a spur of the moment thing.

we few supplies to mcmurdo station in antrctica a couple of times. the weird part came when we staging in christchurch new zealand, a beautiful lush country and then arrive on a piece of ice a mile thick and all you see is white. no slight transition. you close the door on the plane to a paradise then open it to god forsaken land. and vise versa.
