The first thing is to get some Christmas music. If you don't have any then go to your public library and borrow some. Then get a fake Christmas tree. They can be quite cheep and are easy to decorate. Just get some colored lights and some ornaments. Get a lighted star for the top.

Next you need to get some of the cookie cutters that have stuff like Santa Claus and Snow Flakes and Trees and Angels. Make a few batches of cookies. Get one of those Countdown Calenders that give you a piece of chocolate each day until Christmas.

Put up some mistle toe and holly around your house. Put a Reindeer in your yard and lights around your windows and stuff.

Go watch the Nutcracker Ballet and at least the Charlie Brown Christmas Special along with The Grinch That Stole Christmas.

Set up a nativity scene where you see if often. Then go visit a live nativity scene in your community. Go to a church and hear a Choir perform Christmas songs. Then go shopping and have fun.

If all of this don't get you in the spirit then you are just not a Christmas person.

I say don't do anything just to try and get in the spirit of Christmas or it will probably just end up feeling like a chore. If you have a hard time getting into Christmas, then start by enjoying the season. Take advantage of the weather - build a snowman or have a snowball fight (if weather permits), drink hot chocolate, build a fire. If you don't really like to decorate, then drive around looking at other people's decorations, but I'd still suggest getting a tree. I've just started to get into Christmas baking the past few years, but if its not really your thing then don't do it. Or make it simple by buying refrigerated cookie dough. Another thing I've started doing recently is listening to Christmas music. There is so much variety out there you're sure to find something you'll like. Spend time with family and friends (especially children, maybe their spirit and excitement will wear off on you!) I love Christmas (I'm already getting so excited!) but if that isn't how you are don't push it, just try to take pleasure in the simpler things.

The first thing you should do is buy gifts for your family and or friends. The joy of giving should get you into the spirit. Next you could bake sugar cookies in Christmas shapes and red and green sprinkles. You should also buy a fake Christmas tree and some ornaments, and invite some family over to help you trim the tree. Also you could always listen to Christmas music, watch Christmas movies, decorate your house, put lights up, and as i have been saying spend time with the family!!!

Nowadays anything goes for christmas, including different themes for tree and home decorations. You can even buy ornaments in all kinds of patterns and themes as well as colors and the lights for the house and tree are all made to match. Take your pick. Find out if there are any 'city' themes that your city does at christmas time. Our city is called "Christmas Card City" and every years on Thanksgiving Evening we all put out our Christmas Cards in the yard and then shine a yard light onto them so that passers by can see them lit up. We also decorate our outside with lots of things that represent christmas, from filled sleights to mini lawn ornaments to lighted trees and put lights all around our homes. The Christmas Cards are all painted by ourselves on wood boards of any size usually varying around the 3 foot to 8 foot and can be horizontal or vertical and they are made to look like the front of a christmas card. Maybe your city does something that you can incorporate into your holiday festivities. When I was a child our city had a huge tree in the down town square and we all gathered on December 1st and decorated it and sang christmas carols. It was fun to watch the lights go on and hear everyone shout and clap. When you broaden your area for the christmas spirit to include those around you, you will have a lot more fun with it. Try hosting a Christmas Eve party. My sister in law gives one every year for the family. It is Formal Attire and we have so much fun. We all bring a gift to exchange and that way we don't break our budgets buying for everyone. The more decorations you put up the more you will get into the spirit. Make decorating a family affair with your husband and kids if you are married and have kids. They will never forget those fun times. Make sure that they help decorate the tree. My first christmas I put all homemade ornaments and goodies on the tree. There are lots of cute inexpensive boxes and goodie bags to put things you make, either food or otherwise. Even a visit to the dollar shop can produce some cute inexpensive gifts for friends and neighbors. I have even made Wassle or Hot Spiced Cider and put it up into quart canning jars and then put a pretty decorated christmas cloth on the top with a ribbon and taken it to people. If you just get on line and type in Christmas Ideas you will pull up lots of them. Or Christmas Crafts or Christmas Decorating Ideas. The web is a great place to get ideas from. Good luck.

put on a Santa Hat, stuff a pillow under your shirt and sing 'Frosty the Snowman'.

It's a little early for baking and i don't think you can find any candy canes in the stores yet (i know cuz i've looked)

you could bust out the stockings and hang yours in a random place, maybe in your room. put up christmas lights in your window or over the closet. they do give off plenty of light. maybe a little christmas tree also. make a little sign as a countdown to Christmas.......124 DAY TILL CHRISTMAS!! and change it everyday.

Watch a chistmas movie and make a christmas list......of what you want to give other people.

HO HO HO!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!
