I have custom blinds on all my windows and all but one is now lopsided. The dogs tore at the strings only on one side.

I would like to know if anyone knows how to repair them or restring them? I called several places and it would be cheaper for me to replace them...I don't want to.

Teach the dogs to play with the strings on the other side.

Now how did I know I was going to find "rottweiler" when I went into this question --lol -- seen it before. Really this isn't a case of finding steel blinds it is a case of training your dog. It doesn't look good on the breed to be honest when people are "attacked" at the window by a rottie. Here is where the remote control collars really do some good. I have fosters in all the time and sometimes it is necessary to use the collar on them. It is a citronella spray made by multivet called the spray commander, and once sprayed they will respond to the beeper prior to the spray. Apart from that it is lying in wait and issuing a big "LEAVE IT" and mean it. Set the situation up so that a friend calls round and so you know when to be waiting. Also when the post comes if you know what time etc. It is definitely a training issue, but try and train him/her to recognise the missionaries and still scare them away - lol. Sorry. Add on. Well done for taking him on, and best of luck with his training.
