My hubby and I went out tonight and I had to use the restroom.. Well, there was a t.v. in there and it was on a news channel, I think it was Nancy Grace.. Anyways, she was talking about this mother who left her children in the car and it was very hot outside and she left the windows up.. Well anyways the kids were almost dead and she took them home, gave tehm a bath and dressed them in clean clothes and threw them in a garbage bag... And they died.. Has anyone else heard about this? I have been searching the web and watching all the news channels and can't find any thing about this... Did you hear about it? If so where did this happen? And no, this is not a joke question.. It just sickens me to death that someone can and will do something like this..

"Sametta Heyward wrote a suicide note telling authorities she wanted to check on her two children she abandoned in a hot car Sunday but feared she would get in trouble at work.
"I wanted to check on the children so desperately," the note says. "I did not want to get in trouble."
Investigators said they discovered the note Monday after they found the bodies of 4-year-old Shawn Campbell Jr. and 1-year-old Triniti Campbell in black garbage bags beneath the sink of their Remount Road apartment.
Heyward was charged with two counts of homicide by child abuse after authorities said she left the children inside the car in 88-degree weather.
Investigators say she left the children in her Chevrolet Cavalier outside of the Dana House at 1402 Kentwood Circle in Charleston from 3 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Sunday while she cared for people with disabilities inside.
She wrote in the note that she had to take the children with her because she couldn't find anyone to watch them."

So Nancy Grace was starring on TV in a public toilet. How appropriate for a muckraker.The story about the children is unfortunately true. Tune in to her show next week for more on this tragic event. Whether or not it was a deliberate act, the life of the mom and her other kids is now over, right along with the dead children. Why beat those poor, sad people down more, I wonder. Except of course for ratings.When I point one finger at another person, I am pointing four back at myself.

Yeah, August 3, 2007, that is so messed up. Her baby sitter canceled. The job said come in or lose the job. She left them in the car and when she got back she probably just freaked out but... something already had to be wrong if your job can't let you be late while you find another sitter. Ya know? chronic lateness or absenteeism or something.
Really sick and sad.

it had happened not only to nancy, but many people do that. Why, they do that I have no clue.
frankly they shouldn't have kids if they can't handle simple thing like protect tyheir own child in car from sun.

some actually did just do this....so that she wouldn't be fired.....she left them will batter operated fans and food and water, but it of course was not enough
i couldn't find the story either
