I'm assuming you were wanting detailed advice. Scrape out all that old caulk and spray straight bleach everywhere to kill the mildew. Let everything dry good. Be sure to use caulk labeled for shower/tub use. Cut the tip off the caulk so the hole is the size of the bead of caulk for the seams you'll be covering. Have plenty of wet rags ready. Squeeze the caulk out in a continuous bead down each seam. You may want to practice this on a piece of cardboard or something 'til you get the hang of the caulk gun. It's not really hard. Then use a finger to smooth the caulk so it covers the seam evenly-this is where the rags come in! You can wear rubber gloves but still will need to wipe finger. Let this dry according to the instructions on the caulk(usually 24 hours) before using shower. With the prep time, letting everything get good and dry,you may want t o arrange to use a friend's shower if you don't have another because it could take like 2 days before you can have a shower! Good luck-it's really not hard.

You CAN get it off chemically. Go to your local hardware store, tell the clerk you need something that will soften caulking. It's a gel, you squeeze it onto the caulk, and it softens it enough that you should be able to peel it off, or wipe it away. I've used it and it works great! If I can find the name (just looked in my tool closet and can't find it), I'll post back.

You can't get it off chemically. Try a single-edged razor blade (and be prepared to work for quite a while).
I did a shower stall and it did not take forever since they are not that large an area (this one was two glass walls and two tile).

You could try using a box knife cutting in a "v" shape them pulling it out. Do one side then the other side making sure your doing it in a "v" towards the center and if you cut threw far enough it should come off.
Good luck.

you have some good suggestions here. . .I suggest all of the above but be careful you do not scar your tub. It is done quite easily. Patience is the answer and an entire afternoon.
