I thought I was the only one who is annoyed by all of the bad grammar and bad spelling on here. Maybe I was meant to be an English teacher.

Because 90% of the contributers on here seem to be 15 or younger. They haven't learned spelling in school yet.

if you think the spelling is bad you should read some of the electrical advise these idiots give over on home and garden. it's a wonder the whole country isn't burning down.

Well that is a rude question but I think that people start typing and maybe they can not type as fast as they think. It does not mean they are dumb or uneducated . They are just in a hurry to answer and feel as people know what they mean. No one is perfect.

I think it's not that they don't know how to spell, I think it's because of all the abbreviations they use on myspace, IM, etc. Who has time to spell anymore? It irritates me though, is spelling not important anymore? That's scary.

I think there are many cultures and age groups represented here but that doesn't explain the failure to use spell check.
