I just got a corset top, which I was planning to wear to school. However, I realize that it would be against dress code and may seem inappropriate. I've noticed that it's allowed to wear other such things if a jacket is also worn, however. I'm planning to get a black short-sleeved jacket to wear with along with it. So, would it be appropriate enough?

Oh, that is so cute, and yes it would be fine with a jacket, My daughter wears things like that all the time and thats what she does is just wear a jacket with it.

At all depends on the look your going for. You can wear jacket over it or maybe even a tee or long sleeve tee underneath it. Always try on your outfits in front of mirror. Or sometimes as glancing thru magazines if you see an outfit you like always you can copy it, by find ind similar pieces and in your closet or stores. Good Luck

Oh, that doesn't look like a corset at all -- the neckline is very demure, and I'm pretty sure you'd be OK, especially if you have jacket over it.
The only thing you might think about: it's dry clean. Do you want to be sweating in it and spilling school lunch on it? You might look for something similar that washes more easily, and save this for special days.
But it's up to you. I don't think it's slutty at all.

I think its gorgeous, but your teachers might not appreciate it....unless you have any pervy teachers? They would LOVE to see you in that, I'm sure ;) Anyways, I think that one might be a little too much for school - :( I know, I know, sucks right? - but you could wear it over a t-shirt or a vest top, then it would probably be ok. Plus - it stops the pervy teachers, and kidsw, for seeing anything!! Haha :)

If you're going to spend a lot on a corset and wear it out, why not get an original one hand made and custom fit? You can wear a shirt under it... Remember not to slouch in it, yuck.
You can also wear a capelet over it or like a shrug.

You can wear any top that's out of dresscode as long as you wear a jacket over it. I wear tube tops/corsets/tank tops all the time with a jacket over it...my school's so cold anyway...

Bare shoulders are fine in my school. But it's not revealing, and you're wearing a jacket to cover your shoulders, and it's ABOSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, so
go ahead and wear it!
& it's only hard to sit in a corset if you hunch over. sit up straight-better posture!

Yes, it would. Just make sure that the jacket or hoodie (i suggest getting a hoodie) you get has a zipper in case the chest area is too exposed to be considered school-appropriate.

yeah a jacket would be cool or you can put either a white, black ot red button up collor shirt under it and still be cute cause whats the point of wearin it if you can't show it off
