I was just watching Sportscenter and Stuart Scott was joking about an INT a Raven QB threw saying it was "technically a completion, just to the wrong team". He was completely joking, right? An INT doesn't go in the book as a completion, does it?

he was joking. While it is a pass completion, it's not statistically scored that way. If a QB attempts 25 passes and completes 24 to his team and 1 interception, he'll have completed 24 of 25 passes and have a 96% completion rate, not 100%.

He was just kidding, more then likely it probably looked like intentionally meant to throw a pick. It will go down as an int not a completion. Stuart Scott is actually quite funny.

No, it does not count as a completion. He was saying that it didn't go incomplete, because it was caught, but officially for the player's stats, it was an incomplete because it wasn't caught by a player on his own team. So he would be 0/1 with 1 int.

Statistically speaking, the answer is NO. Stuart Scott sometimes isn't funny anymore. I hope he was joking.

stuart scott is an idiot, he thinks he's funny but he's not and this is another example of his attempt at humor misleading someone....no, an interception is not recorded as a completion in any way, shape, or form...it's recorded as an interception
