Mine was my grandma got me: a Barbara Streisand cd box set, Jimmy Buffett box set & a Frank Sinatra Sweater, I don't like any of their music (well I like some of Frank's) but I took them all back.

The worst Christmas gifts I've ever gotten are when I have accidentally ruined the surprise. The gift were great but I hate it when the surprise is ruined. Like one time (age 30) my mother had gotten my a Clown Cabbage Patch Doll because I was a member of a clown group - and I accidentally found were she had hidden it when I was helping clean the house. (20 years later and I still have that doll)

When I was 15, I came down stairs and there were only clothes under the tree. I have never been a fan of clothes as gifts and everyone knew it. That year ruined Christmas for me and I am 50 years old now.

Bad Christmas presents are what life is all about, remember when you were a kid you'd tell someone what you'd like to get(Santa)? and there it would be on christmas morning. Now who do you tell? as an adult you take whatever comes your way I prefer food gifts as usually these are home-made, and are always pretty good. Except fruit-cake?!, if your single even fruit-cake is good. Worst christmas gift are when people think they Know you? and your likes....Because i use to ride a Harley I'd get all kinds of Harley knickknacks...not at all what I'm into. Food is good!

A flashlight, not a bad gift in and of itself - quite practical, in fact, and I have used it. What was bad was the same person (a relative) gave my brother a leather jacket.
I was disappointed to say the least.

My grandma got me a pencil set with 2 pencils, an eraser, and a sharpener with the spice girls on it..I didn't like them and that was after they were popular..we went out that next day and she said, "I was going to get you that purse" and pointed at a bright pink backpack purse that said SPICE GIRLS..I was like "aw I would have loved it" ..I had to lie..you gotta love grandmas.

Clothes. I've gotten everything from itchy sweaters, to novelty t-shirts, to styles that I just don't like.
I usually end up giving them away to charity later in the year.

i never received a bad gift at all. i was always appreciative of everything i got and truly believed it came from the heart. there are kids out there who don't get anything and to me that would be the worse.

My stepmom got me the ugliest sweater from WalMart that you could ever imagine. I donated it to the Goodwill Thrift store.

My ex step dad once got me a yo-yo and a rock that he picked up from a garage sale. I was glad when my mom kicked him to the curb.

I got a Last Supper wall clock. It was gaudy. I gave it to a coworker. Her mom loved that kind of stuff.
