The scariest has to be spending two weeks in a home that hated everyone in it and manipulated our emotions. I visited my brother, his wife, and their two kids. Their "real" home was damaged in a fire and the insurance company gave them a loaner until repairs could be made.

The house was a nightmare. We could never turn off the lights at night because something would happen whenver we did. This meant we never got any sleep. There was never enough electricity, there was a pitch black room that could not be found outside the home, and the worst- it kept me and my daughter from waking up once. My family came into the room, screaming and shaking us and was about to call 911 when finally, we woke up.

My brother's naturally kind demeanor was completely altered. He was mean, cruel, and made unwanted sexual advances toward my best friend. He screamed at the kids, beat the dog, and covered the windows to keep out the light. His wife (who is also normally very nice) would not speak to any of us. The only time we got along was when we left the house. They have never been that way before or since that house.

Believe me, there is more but it could be a book. This was the worst and scariest thing to ever happen to me.

I was raised to be more of a traditionalist and as I get older I realized that was just a nice way of saying racist/separatist and so many other things and I went through a period of intense soul searching and I had a dream shortly after. I think this was so weird. Some may call it coincidence and say it has no meaning but in my dream I was nude and lounging under a huge beautiful tree, among other people of various brown and porcelain complexions. It was really liberating. Mind you, I had this dream before my mind opened to the possibilities so it was very scary. This dream was about freedom in nature and the fact that the bodies were nude was more of freedom testament than a nudist theme.

PS. I feel compelled to say I simply became more open minded in terms of spirituality and friendships. (Basic core beliefs remain in terms of so many other things that are vital)

One morning around four thirty in the morning, I woke up to see this tall figure standing next to my bed with this long white robe on, and it had like a dark blue tie type of thing that hung down. I was so scared, I couldn't look up to see its face, instead I looked to see where my German Shepherd was, and there he was sound asleep on the bottom of my bed, with no clue to that thing that was standing there! I then looked back to see if it was still there, and it WAS! At that point, I couldn't take my eyes off of it, because I was too scared to. Finally the blue tie thing moved toward my night stand, and then it all just faded away. For many a night after that, I was afraid to go to bed thinking I was going to see it again. I told my daughter, and she said, she hopes she never sees it! My husband said he was glad he was out that night driving his truck. I don't know what it was, or what it meant, but I hope I never see it again!

The scariest thing that ever happend to me, was, I was at school, and I was running toward one of my friends, then, I guess I stepped wrong or something, but, I got this really sharp pain in my back, and it caused me to lose my breath, and I couldn't breathe for about a couple of minuets, (but when you can't breatheit seems like forever) and i remember reaching for my friend, trying to tell her i couldn't breathe, but, she was way a head of me, then I guess she came back, and got a teacher, because i looked up, and a teacher was there, trying to get me to breathe right. It scared the crap outta me.

My fiancee and i were asleep one night in our bedroom, mind you I had been leading a very bad life at that time (cheating on her, heaving drinking, and even dabbling in playing with Ouija board) anyways I woke up in a very terrified state and saw a huge black figure standing in the door way, very terrifying, any who, i tried going back to sleep, and did, but not really. When morning came I was uneasy and a month later she told me she had seen then exact same figure that I had seen, needless to say I cleaned up everything and have been happy since.

I was learning to talk to trees. I woke an old oak tree. It roared and then the top shook. Scared me bad. Never will I try to wake an old tree again. No joke. It was when I started learning about becoming a druid.

When I asleep sometimes and my pets are in another room, I have my eye's closed, but my ear feels something tickling it. And I feel something breathing next to my ear.
But I have sleep/wake paralysis. Where I'm asleep and can't move.

The weirdest is when I lost my pencil and couldn't find it for 2 hours. The scariest is where I found the pencil. *Ouch*
