Their is a girl in my grade (of about 6 girls) who just doesn't seem to like me. I try to be friendly, but I don't talk to her a lot cause she hangs out with other people.nd says that she talked to her and she said she didn't like me because I talk crap about her boyfriend and give her dirty looks. i don't really like her bf so i can see how she could've heard that, but I definitely don't give her dirty looks. what can i do to get along better with her this year.

Sweetie, not everyone in the world is going to like you, and it's not really necessary. Try to stay out of her hair.
Also, she may have a point -- it's not good to talk crap about ANYONE. Unless you see a friend heading into a bad situation with someone, then it's OK to warn her privately, but not in front of another person.
You can say, "I'm sorry we haven't gotten along better in the past. I hope this year can be different." That way, the ball is in her court. If she gets angry, you can tell her she's right about what she's right about, and wrong about the rest. Say it calmly, then leave her be.
If she looks confused or friendly, start talking about some neutral subject (classes this year, or favorite singers -- nothing negative) to get the ball rolling.
It may take time, but I think your instincts are good. In a class of only six girls, you have to stick together! Good luck!

I would ask her to talk to her privately, this way there is no other girls or any body else for that matter, involved, and you can get a more genuine response, because she is face to face with you. Be honest and tell her you do not have a problem with her, and that your sorry if she feels this way, and if you have a real issue with her boy friend, tell her, look if you heard any rumors about me saying something about him, this is why......(your answer) Tell her you don't have a problem with her and would like to be friends, and apoligize to any wrong that you may have caused her, if she seews that you are genuine, she will be understanding, and may give you some slack, if not, ignore her, and move on with your life, remeber, "Those who anger you, control you" so dont let her do that, you have to do what is best for your own life right now, not worry about her and her shallow veiws.

Tell her you're sorry and would like to start fresh. Then quit talking crap about her BF behind her back and giving her dirty looks. If you're going to be a friend, be a friend not a backstabber.

Cut off contact, theres no reasoning with someone who beleives otherwise. And your just going stress yourself out over some girl who isn't even your friend.

Why do you need to get along with her. Ignore her completely, find new friends that are not as annoying, and have fun with them. Just pretend she does not exists.
