does anyone have a myspace tracker that tells you who has been looking at your site even if the other person doesnt have the tracker?

Ok here we go again with the tracker questions.
This has been answered many times before, but for new readers' benefit, I will reiterate:
Myspace trackers (or any other trackers for that matter) can only reveal the IP address of the page viewer. IP addresses will usually give the city and state of the viewer, but cannot give names, street addresses and other more personal information.
And then you have those myspace users who use proxies. (I will not allow my kids on myspace without a proxy.)
Use of a proxy allows the user to surf the internet through another computer's IP address (the proxy) whick disguises their real IP address. Therefore trackers used on myspace will only return the IP address of the page viewer's proxy...which may be halfway across the world from their actual location.
What this all boils down to is that trackers are basically useless, and in my opinion, not worth the bother.

Yeah Im pretty sure a while (maybe a couple months) back Tom posted a thing saying not to click on anything that said it was a myspace tracker because there is no such thing-- there isn't one because everyone would want to use it and no one would want to be tracked.

there is no myspace tracker. you will get lots of spyware and possibly virus's if you searched for one and clicked on links. and if you find one and put it on your profile, your myspace account may be deleted.
