It is defiantly rain water. There is no antifreeze smell or coloration to the fluid. Also this happened while the car was parked with the engine and AC off

I know you said ac was off but with carpet it's hard to say just when hit it. ok cars have an ac evaporator coil under the dash has a drain pan to catch and send condensation out through a tube (that's what you see dripping under a just parked car if they had been using ac). gunk can build up and clog the drain tube, anytime that happens the water has no where to go but passenger side floor. get under the car SAFELY of course and look at the engine side of firewall, passenger side, near the bottom, should see drain use not sharp wire to clear it, sharp might damage coil if it goes too deep. This water will not have a color or odor. easily mistaken for rain.

Sure it's rain or do you have a leak in the heater core ?? Check for an anti freez odor
