I do remember that commercial! Oh, being a older user does have benefits. lol Really, can't say I have a Timex wind up that still works, but can remember when you bought one, they would last for years!!!!

Yeah, I remember the commercial but I don't have a ticking Timex or any watch for that matter.

Didn't they do crazy stuff like stick the guy on a board and turn him upside down? Or into a tank of water? Yeah Dave Letterman doesn't make that stuff up from scratch. Nowadays Timex watches are more or less disposable.

No but I have a Timex Indiglo that is over 18 years old that still works. Dang good watches they are.

I remember and I have a Timex that is eight years old and has been through he**, but it is a digital.

No but I do have a watch that was given to me about eight years ago and it is still running. I've never had to change the battery yet. Mind you I have about five other watches that I haven't had as long that I like to wear depending on where I'm going and my mood. I've had to have new batteries put in them once a year. Go figure.

Yeah I remember. That is so funny because I had a wind up watch that just died about 4 months ago and I had that watch for many years. They don't make them like that anymore.

Yup. I got mine as a birthday present when I was a kid back in 1979. Had to replace the band a couple times, but the wind-up still works! Great timepieces!
