It might be a symptom of what you bring to the table, rather than what "men" bring to the table or fight.
I think that whatever problem you have with a PARTICULAR man needs to be corrected, before you label ALL men a such!
I treat my wife and son with love and dignity every day of the week.
Try it out for yourself! If your mate/boyfriend is not susceptible, then find one who is!

LOL... I think men are great at being proud of themselves whether they have anything to be proud about. I think that's something that women should take note of and be more like in a way.
No matter what a guy looks like, (pot belly, bald, fat, super skinny), many remain proud of their look. No matter what they do, they are proud of it and brag about it whether it's changing a baby's diaper, a touchdown or solving a puzzle. Granted, it can be annoying hearing how they succeeded over and over again but I'd rather hear that than hear my girlfriend's complain about how much weight they gained within the last hour.
That's the thing that I love about men. Most of them like who they are. If only women felt that way. If only women were proud of their bodies, jobs, families, friendships and the fact that they are women... our lives would be so much better.

Obviously, both women and men are good at many things.
And quite a few men and women are good at making each others lives difficult, as the divorce rates prove.
