Has anyone been successful at selling cars? I mean like 60+ a year?

I just see all the advertisments, and hear about some carsalesmen making solid money. I was just wondering if anybody has had this success?

somewhere in every car dealership, usually back where the sales manager hides out, there is a whiteboard

on that board are listed the names of every salesman and the vital stats of every sale he has made that month

this board is used to keep track of the standings in the monthly race for the top salesman prize.

go look at the board on the 28th of any month.


you'll see that the leading salesman probably has something like 35 sales if you're in the used car section and 20 if you're in the new car section.

that's in one month.

i know. I looked.

and then i picked the number two guy and asked to talk with him about buying a car.


sometimes it helps to know who the hungriest salesman is.
