i got this clear water stuff and i put in the tank but it didnt clear the water turn like a brownish golden color is that normal

That's one of th hazards of using thank clearing chemicals, as well as the fact that they rarely work and even if they do it's only temporary.

If you have a whitish or milky colored haze in the tank, your best bet is to simply change some of the water and wait it out. It will clear on it's own in a few days.

If it's greenish in color, it's from algae and you need to clean the gravel well as you change about 50% of the water and leave the lights off most of the time and it will clean in a week or so.

Yes this is normal. What the chemical does is link it's self to the particles in the water until they are large enough to be filtered out. Your water should start clearing up after about 24 hours. If it doesn't i would recomend testign the water and doing a 25% water change.

Yep, and I've seen some brands turn the water blue! Your best bet is to find out why your tank is not clear to begin with. Did you overfeed? Is it overcrowded? Have you done partial water changes? You may just need to upgrade your filtration.

If this is a NEW tank, they go through a cloudy period as they cycle, and that will correct itself.
