What gases or vapors found inside a house or building (besides steam or smoke) have color and shape, and could float as an indoor cloud, fog, or visible indoor air mass?

Could static electricity somehow create such a phenomenon?
Have you heard of airborne dust in a room ever forming a floating cloud?

Any answer, thought, or idea as to the cause is appreciated.

Science, and/or science fiction possiblites welcome.

Several gases have color but you do not want to find them inside a house. In the past industrial workers using asbestos would work in conditions so dusty the far wall could not be seen. Film producers have used special conditions to produce their special effects for years. Armies use smoke generators to hide movements. Mostly they use diesel on hot surfaces to make a dense smoke. Do not try any of this.

Dust in a woodworking shop can hang like a cloud and it can be a very dangerous cloud, a spark could ignite it and cause an explosion.

Suspended particulates do appear in sunlight, but as for clouds, no.

In large hangers though, clouds have actually formed and there has been rain from them!!
