My wife had her wisdom teeth removed, and the oral surgeon told her not to breastfeed our son for two days. The first day, and into the second, he was miserable. He wouldn't stop crying, and he couldn't be around his mommy without getting more upset, making her feel like she was abandoning him. Her doctor and my son's doctor were not returning our calls, so I posted a question asking if it was ok to breastfeed him.
A nurse or lactation consultant (I can't recall which) looked in her big fat medical book and told us we could've been breastfeeding him as early as 4 hours after her teeth were pulled, ending the most difficult part of my son's life up to this point.

I've learnt, yeah i'm weird....but so is nearly everyone here. Basically i'm not alone! When I have a problem I might ask a friend and they say ------nope never had that problem before. But that's because i'm not asking a wide amount of people.
On here there's so many different people and so many people willing to help you out!
The people who are here for a good time, all stick together which is really good.

Following the loss of my beloved darling Gwenneth (42 years together) I suffered severe depression. After recovering, I found Answers and was rewarded by such wonderful help.
