I know this question would be better suited in the paranormal section, but I want to get answers from people that don't know everything about the paranormal. (If you search for similar questions about ouija boards you'd understand)

The thing about a Ouija board is that it let's other things (spirits/demons) in and you are very rarely talking to the person you think you are. Once you cross into the spirit world you enter s General Knowledge state. Where everyone knows everything about everyone. It's a spiritual trick that can lead to worse things. If you miss someone who's passed on talk to God about it and he will lead your steps.
FYI: the best way to talk to God is as if he's you best friend and standing right there. Tell him a joke - it'll brake the ice :)

I believe you can contact spirits. Me, and my friend, Amanda were playing with the Ouija Board. We were asking the typical teenage girl questions, and my stepmother came out. She is fun and nice, not the typical stepmother. Then we started asking questions about her mother and father back in Korea. She was adopted and never knew anything about her mother or father. First we asked things only she would know. She wasn't using the board. Every one of her questions went answered correctly.
Then Amanda and my stepmom were using the bored and I was being bored taking pictures. They started asking about my uncle Jason who died 2 years age at 22. They knew nothing about him except he died 2 years ago and he was my uncle Jason. Then my stepmom asked me "Was your uncle a sarcastic, easy going guy?" I answered "Yes, why?" Then she told me to look at what she wrote. It was he questions and what the boards answers were. They had the birthdate right. The death date right. And other things thatI could imagine him saying. I started bawling.

I do believe in the board. I can remember playing with it in my friend's basement when I was young and it scared the %$*^( out of me!!

Fun, but crap! I used to cheat relentlessly at it, just to make it seem more interesting! Nobody ever guessed that I was controlling everything. They call that a game?

i think they are fun, and sometimes scary... i don't care if they are real or not, they are good honest fun weather or not the spirits really communicate with you
