can you fix a damaged soul?

if you cant cure it, can you at least treat it? how?

actions hurt the body, words hurt the mind, my own emotions will hurt my own soul, that sounds about right

A damaged soul... your soul is the statement of your inner self, it can't be harmed physically, only mentally, since there is the mind, soul, and body. Physical damages the body, verbal damages the mind, but what damages the soul? In other words, you damaged your soul, its tearing you apart inside, and you feel as to get rid of that feeling, confront what damages you and you "fix" your soul.

According to the ancient Vedas which are the original knowledge which was given by God at the time of Creation- the cure for the soul or medicine is to chant the holy names which are pure and Transcendental to this material illusion.- One must come to the actual understanding that we are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.

I don't think that if there is such a thing as a soul, it could be damaged. It would be eternal and pure, and joined to the infinate power and beauty of the universe.

It's the brain that requires treatment when something goes askew.

What's your damage? I do think you can heal a soul, I do think it will take time and a lot of love and understanding. Soul searching, why did this happen type of thing. It's not too late, not while you're living.

well, 'fix' implies repairing, and sometimes repairs are temporary. curing ti is harder cause it means there healing wounds, and some have scars from heals. the best treatment, i think is to cleanse it while moving on, they say prevention is better than curin, and that's more possible. now, in the event that it IS damaged, well, just aleviate it a little, to make is more soulful. =)

Concentrate on the "whole, in terms of intact" or healthy part of your soul, not on the rotten part. There is in every soul something healthy. A love, a value. Feed that, concentrate on that and your whole soul will heal.
