I was thining of social constraints. Since you have less and less time left on the planet, are you tempted to do things some things that you would not have done at 30?

I don't know about anyone else but I am having the best sex of my entire life. we are like a pair of rabbits. The kids are on their own. I only have to clean up after me and my hubby. We have the money and time to go anywhere we want. We have the usual problems but see ourselves as smarter or wiser. I am dealing with issues in my life that I never had the guts to deal with before and I FEEL better about myself and my life.

Not even social security benefits, or haven't you been paying attention to the financial news lately? As far as anything else, I guess it depends upon the person. If you are thinking reproductively. I know women who have had children in their 50s...as long as they've still got all of the reproductive organs there is ALWAYS that one chance they can get pregant. Thankfully I no longer have mine. After 40 there was no more thinking about "maybe baby" LOL

Nope. The rules don't change. When you're over 50 you finally figure out what the rules are. But by then, it's too late to take advantage of this knowledge.

The kids are generally raised and out on their own. This is a big boon, because if you are married it's back to the way it started, just the two of you. How nice is that!

Experience and wisdom are definitively pluses...!

We can learn SO MUCH from people who have lived longer...It's a great way to hear all kinds of great stories and to learn from other people's mistakes.
