Subtraction is not commutative

The commutative property means switching numbers order does not change the result. Multiplication and addition are commutative - subtraction is not. Switching the order in subtraction gives a different result.
a=2
b=1
2 minus 1 equals 1
1 minus 2 equal -1

Subtraction is not communative. You can't flip the numbers around and get the same result.

For example, if a=2 and b=7, then its obvious that
a-b does not equal b-a because a-b is -5 and b-a is 2. -5 does not equal 2.
