When all is well, or at least I have someone good in my life, it is not a matter of endurance. When things are going ill, I rely on my stubborn streak to fight against the things which seek to pull me down. I believe that suicide is an act of cowardice, and that if I am to live, then I must swim, whether or not my strokes take me far, because otherwise I am guaranteed to sink.
