Slaves and butlers are totally different, slaves don't have a choice. Butlers have a choice.

Africa is a different country so they can pretty much do what they want. As for slaves in a industrialized country they would be too expensive to keep, unlees they were highly skilled. In that case they would be highly educated which is something all owners of slaves throughout strove to deprive slaves.

It is because slaves are not paid employees and are not given a choice in the matter. People are not possesions.

slaves=mistreated, butchered
butlers=paid, free to leave
slave owners=wouldn't want to be them when we see Jesus face to face. He has the slaves backs.
Don't forget the white men who died to free the slaves..I am from that line :o)

I think most people are against having slaves if they are a different race than you but if your white you should be able to have a white slave

Because butlers are paid well for their services and it is their choice of occupation. Slaves have no choice and are taken advantage of and mistreated! There's no comparison.
