On 9/11 the south tower of the WTC burned for just 56 minutes before collapsing, while the north tower lasted around an hour and 45 minutes. According to the official transcripts of the firefighter tapes, fires in both towers were almost out immediately before the collapses.

The saving grace that could have prevented Deutsche Bank from imploding may have been the fact that it was not hit by a plane, as the twin towers were on 9/11.

However, the absence of a jet strike wasn't enough to prevent WTC 7 from crumbling into its own footprint within 7 seconds later that fateful afternoon.

The fire yesterday did not burn nearly as hot as the fire caused by the planeload full of aviation fuel! It is the difference between a campfire (burning wood) and a fire burning gasoline. The gas fire will burn at a much higher temperature!

Keep my brother firefighters and their families in your prayers!

The terrorist knew what they were doing. A fully loaded 747 on its first flight of the morning caries a lot of aviation fuel. That fuel burned so hot it melted the steel reinforcement in the concrete and all supporting girders. The concrete then crumbled. Once it started breaking and falling to the lower floors a cascading effect brought the whole building down on itself.

Nothing in the German bank building would burn as hot or as long as aviation fuel.

If you saw the reviews of the 9/11 attack, you saw that the ground under WTC 7 gave way. There were train tunnels and sewers and other cavities under those buildings. They didn't have any support once WTC 1 and 2 collapsed.

Does that answer your question?

The reason the WTC buildings collapsed was fuel load. Each of those buildings were fully loaded with combustible materials and the added jet fuel from the planes. This fuel heated the steel to a point where it lost strength and couldn't support the weight of the structure - and they collapsed. This was also componded by the shearing of the buildings sprinkler system.

The bank building is being demolished; much of the fuel has been already removed and it did not have thousands of gallons of jet fuel added to it. It is tragic, however, that two firefighters still lost their lives attempting to extinguish it.

Because there wasn't a whole planeload of aviation gas and molten metal from another structure to feed the fire.

Research "flash point." Each element burns at a different temperature . . . elements can be identified by the temperature they burn at . . . think back to 7th grade chemistry.
