As of her last shed, my CalKing is 46" long! Yay! She's around five years old.
So, how much is she supposed to weigh? All the info I've ever found is "an overweight snake looks like and overtuffed sausage", which is no help. None of her bones are sticking out or anything, and she's not like grotesquely fat, but I just want to know if she should be eating more or not. She grows a good 3" every shed, more or less. When she's all coiled up, her skin is all wrinkly where she bends. Is she too flabby?
She's looked the same forever, she's not getting fatter or anything.
Right now I'm feeding her four hoppers a week, I've been feeding her that much for several months now.
Is there a chart or guide somewhere that I can use to see if she's a good weight?
