Wait. Men are supposed to ask women out. It's seems to be almost a rule. Only REAL men ask women out, after all.
The rule is about 2,000 years old. If that rule doesn't change, then women should be subservient to men, as that rule is that old, too.
The point I'm making is that since it's a new millennium shouldn't women have the power to change those dumb rules? And why is a shy man lacking in 'cajones', as was so delicately put? Is an assertive woman lacking in ova?

Excuse me??
Even if A were true, there is no logic in the world that leads from part A of your question to part B.
The only cultures where the woman is assumed to obey the men's wishes, the woman isn't asked at all. She is told who she will marry and is never with a man under any circumstances (like sitting in the parlor or church) without a chaperon.

Women practice dismissal, fear, and preoccupation. Men need an opening line, small talk, and to close with getting a telephone number or a date. The number one dating advice for women is "play hard to get".
Obese blobs, (that are 50% of the population), have immature hysteria that causes delirium in good looking women. The environments in this society are .1% good looking women.
No one has ever seen the start of a relationship. There are 21 organizations spying on the public with plain clothes agents.

So you are saying that if the man is in charge from the beginning, it could be assumed that the man will always be in charge. I can see that.
But, for some reason I let men ask me out and then I assumed we were equal. That was probably dumb of me.

You know better than that. Since when did asking a woman out on a date equate to allowing a man to boss a woman around ?

Are you kidding? Apparently you haven't met many women.
So let's try another.
Since the man wants sex more than the woman, can you assume she'll make him pay for it in all kinds of intangible ways?
Wake up and smell the . . .estrogen, pal.

That's the dumbest thing i ever heard of in my life. Good lucky finding a woman to go along with that. No woman with a brain will go along with obeying your ever wish.
What century are you from ?

i honestly don't see the connection between the two unless you are implying women generally carry an assumption its the man's role to ask them out or whatever and the common denominator is assumptions men and women carry (which for reference tend to always make an *** out of -u)
