How does one become like this?

a perfectly nice and normal guy into a guy who plays dirty is abrasive intimidates women all in a year's time.And will most people,even acquiantances notice the change?

I would say that some major trauma had to have occurred for a man to have changed like that. Are you sure that the old guy isn't right under the surface?
