It would be with several friends, and eveyone would be in costume. None of that "Oh, I'm dressed up as myself" stuff.
Just wondering whether it would be okay to go, because some people seem to have a problem with teens even if they are in costume.
Thanks for all answers!

Nope, no parties to go to.
Most of the parties involve kids getting drunk or high, and I don't want to be involved in that.

Yes, go. Have fun :)
You're so young and you're only young for such a short time. Enjoy it. Its those teens that are going to those parties and getting high that make people have a problem with teens. They think that the trick or treating teens are still up to no good.
I'd rather have my child trick or treating rather than getting high or god knows what else.
I usually like seeing what the older trick or treaters wear. As they're older and get more creative. I have seen a few of that "oh i'm dressed as myself" stuff. But I've also seen younger kids, toddler age with no costume. I give them all candy. Unless they're rude to me. I've refused candy to a kid as young as seven because he was a brat. I try and talk nicely with them and wish them happy halloween and get them to say "trick or treat" and the little monster was like "just give me MY candy so I can go" I told him for that he doesn't deserve any.
Just don't be a turd. Behave and have fun. Some people might refuse candy to you but oh well others wont.

Halloween trick or treating is for children. Normally, a 15 year old would not consider herself a child for these purposes but rather, as an adolescent or young adult. I suspect there are either maturity issues or perhaps a cover story for some form of misbehavior.
Most 15 year olds would rather attend Halloween parties than walk around from house to house for candy. If I was the father I would be very suspicious if my daughter wanted to do this.

Sure, go if you want to and you think that you'll have fun! I trick-or-treated last year with a friend and took care of my little sisters, and no one gave me any trouble about it. Halloween is fun, and if you want to continue a childhood tradition for a few more years (and get free candy!) instead of going to stupid parties where you would feel pressured to get drunk and high, there's no problem with that. I don't know how wanting to go trick-or-treating means that you have maturity issues... if anything I think it means you're more mature for not wanting to act like an adult at 15.

We get older kids coming by every year. Then again, we have a huge display and pretty big set up so it attracts a lot of people. I like it when the older kids come (in costume). As long as they aren't obnoxious it doesn't bother me in the least.
Go have fun. I think it's great that you'd rather do that then go to parties.

Far as I know there is no age limit to having fun. I have older people come in costume all the time and I give them the same smile and candy as I would a little one. Be happy that you can have fun and not need it to be something bad or illegal. In today's world you guys got the right Idea!

No, 15 is a bit old for trick or treating. You should all dress up and go to haunted houses! I think the age is set by the community standard though. Generally if the malls say you are too old to trick-or-treat, then you probably are.

I went trick or treating when I was 15. Since when is 15 too old?
Trick-or-treating is for kids and you are still technically a kid. I am a mother and I would have no problem giving you candy.
I have had "kids" who were 18/19 years old knocking at my door for candy and I gave it to them even though I thought they might be a bit too old.
If someone yells at you for trick-or-treating then they have serious problems.
Go out and have fun!

I always thought 12 was the cut off age HOWEVER, kids seem to be in such a hurry to grow up these days, I find it rather sweet that you would want to. You could trick or treat at my house and I'd still give you candy. Enjoy being a kid while it lasts.

Go for it!!.....as long as you are in costume, and don't try to scare all the little kids, keep an eye on the little kids, make sure they are safe. And for goodness sake, let the LITTLE kids in front of you. Who knows, maybe more 15 year olds should go trick-or-treating, it could happen.

It depends on where you live, if others do it I could still be cool; but since you are questioning it maybe it is time to stop going door to door.
Perhaps there is a High School Halloween Costume Party you could go to instead.
