I could not possibly care less where Ms. Bush has her wedding.
If it is her wish to have it at the WH, that is fine.
If not, that's fine also.
Her wedding. Her day. Her call.

So many others have been married there so there is a strong precedent. Really, the choice is with the families and the to-be weds and nobody else. The budget isn't going to change because of it and no new agents will be put on Secret Service salary to cover it so if there are any aditional costs, it is minimal and part of the package that goes with electing a President.

I don't believe the taxpayer with have to foot the bill. Even if they do It will be a lot less than Congress squanders with no results. At least there will be an positive outcome from using the White House and taxpayers bucks. Both young ladies work as volunteers for those less fortunate. So I see it as a what goes around comes around deal.

I thought of that when I heard the announcement. If I were her I would take the opportunity to get married at the white house. It doesn't happen very often, I think the last time was 40 years ago, so she should take advantage of it.
I'm no fan of Bush but I think we should be able to keep partisan politics out of something like this. It's as close as America gets to a royal wedding.

Sure. As long as she and her cowardly worthless hubby are shipped out to Iraq for a nice 18 month honeymoon immediately afterward. Otherwise no.
Everybody knows Bush is going to stick the taxpayers with the bill.

Leave Jenna Bush alone.
Christ, I mean, who gives a damn? Why do people always feel the need to drag a politician's family into the spotlight?

I am not against it. Let her.
And in lieu of a gift I contribute my tax dollars for her wedding in terms of using the WH...big deal.

Why not. As long as he's the President, that is officially their home.
